The Cubs are close to trading 1B Derrek Lee to the Braves, according to David Kaplan of Comcast Chicago.
This move makes a lot of sense for the Braves. Derek Lee is a significant upgrade at 1B over Troy Glaus. Not only do I feel that Lee is an offensive upgrade, but Glaus does not even come close to Lee on the defensive side.
