The Mets begin a 3 game series with the Philadelphia Phillies tonight at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies have been hit pretty hard with the injury bug as Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, and Shane Victorino are all on the DL. This has forced Charlie Manuel to reshape his lineup quite a bit. Despite the injuries the Phillies are still only 2 games out from the Braves for the division lead. LHP John Niese will start for the Mets and look to rebound from his bad start against the D'Backs last week. Phillies counter with RHP Joe Blanton who is looking to turn around what has been a rough season for him so far. Game time is 7:35 PM. Here are the starting lineups:
