The Mets begin a 3 game series with the Houston Astros tonight at Citi Field. The Mets will look to get on a winning streak tonight as they face their former teammate RHP Nelson Figueroa. Figueroa will be opposed by Mets RHP Mike Pelfrey. The Mets still sit 7.5 games behind the Wild Card leading San Francisco Giants with 6 teams ahead of them, 3 who are in the NL East. The Mets will be without SS Jose Reyes tonight, as he recovers from his right oblique injury that he re-injured last night, while singling in the Bot of the 2nd.
