According to Jon Morosi of foxsports.com, Manny Ramirez has been claimed on waivers according to his sources. There are no reports yet as to what team put in the claim.

According to sources, multiple teams claimed Manny Ramirez. We are waiting to find out who won the rights to him.
UPDATE: 1:59PM
The Yankees or the Rays did not claim Ramirez meaning that he will not be returning to the AL East.
UPDATE: 2:41PM
The Chicago WhiteSox have won the waiver claim of Manny Ramirez. They now have 72 hours to work out a trade with the LA Dodgers or the Dodgers can decide to pull Ramirez off waivers and keep him. This could be interesting as the Dodgers have worked their way back into the WC race. Stay tuned!
