In the Bottom of the 2nd Inning tonight, Mets SS Jose Reyes was forced to leave the game after re-aggravating his right oblique strain that cost him time earlier in the year. Reports are that the strain is mild and that he will not resume baseball activities until he is pain free.
This is a huge blow to the ball club as Reyes has been playing very well as of late. We can only hope that he will heal quickly, but as we saw earlier in the year, this is a very tricky injury. Stay tuned.
