According to Kevin Burkhardt of SNY, Francisco Rodriguez exploded in the clubhouse after tonight's loss to the Colorado Rockies. Rodriguez was asked numerous times by reporters whether or not he was able to pitch tonight. Francisco very angrily told the reporters to mind their business. Then with Rodriguez still obviously upset by not appearing in tonight's game, he got into a physical altercation with his father in-law who was eventually taken off to the hospital in an ambulance. Rodriguez was supposedly contained by security and police. The severity of the injuries to Rodriguez's father in-law is unknown as well as what caused the altercation.
