Rumor: Chad Qualls

Jeff Fletcher of AOL Fanhouse reports that Diamondbacks reliever Chad Qualls is on the Mets' shopping list.

Opinion: This makes absolutely no sense to me. Qualls is having a terrible year. His current stat line looks like this:

There are a lot better options available that can be had. I recommend the Mets look in another direction.
