The Mets lost to the Dodgers last night by the score of 2-0.
Hisanori Takahashi pitched very well going 7 IP while only giving up 2 runs and 3 hits. Once again however the Mets offense was non existant. The offense only mustered up 5 hits against LA's starting pitcher Hirioki Kuroda. This lost puts the Mets only 2 games over .500 and also puts them 7 1/2 games out in the NL east. It panic time in Mets land.
