Trade: Roy Oswalt to PHI for J.A. Happ and prospects

Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Astros will receive J.A. Happ, prospect outfielder Anthony Gose and prospect shortstop Jonathan Villar in exchange for Roy Oswalt. Rosenthal adds that Oswalt's $16 million option for 2012 is actually a mutual option. With the trade, the buyout will increase from $1-2 million if the Phillies pick up the option and Oswalt declines. Oswalt would receive $2 million if he opts out on his own.

Opinion - This is a great trade for the Phillies. They gain a workhorse of a pitcher and perfect complement to Roy Halladay and Cole Hamels. This Phillies staff is now the best in the NL. This is not good for Mets fans as we will have to deal with the trio of Halladay, Oswalt, and Hamels for the remainder of this year and all of next year.
