The Angels have acquired RHP Dan Haren from the Diamondbacks for Joe Saunders, Patrick Corbin, Rafael Rodriguez and a player to be named later.
Opinion: I do not think the Angels got much better in this deal. I think Haren is a fine pitcher however I don't understand why they gave up Joe Saunders in the deal. A combination of Saunders and Haren is a nice duo but the fact that they couldn't work out this deal without giving Saunders makes the trade a wash.
