Roster Move: Rod Barajas
The Mets have placed Rod Barajas on the 15 day DL with a left oblique strain and have called up Mike Hessman from Triple-A Buffalo. Hessman was hitting .274 with 18 HR and 58 RBI in 64 games at Buffalo.
