Trade Rumor Update:

Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports that the Colorado Rockies are sellars despite being 5 1/2 games out in the Wild Card race. He says that COL has been actively shopping RHP Aaron Cook.

Multiple sources are reporting that the Chicago White Sox are one of the most active teams right now. They are looking into multiple deals including possibly three or four team deals including names such as Adam Dunn, Brett Myers, Lance Berkman, and Edwin jackson.

According to Foxsports.com, the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers are discussing a deal that would send LHP Ted Lilly and INF Ryan Theriot to the Dodgers. The Mets as of last night were still in talks with the Cubs regarding Lilly, however balked when they were asked for Josh Thole in exchange.

Ken Rosenthal of Foxsports.com reports that rival executives still believe that the Yankees are in "heavy" on Adam Dunn.
