Pre-Game: STARTING LINEUPS FOR 9/2/2010


The Mets look to salvage the final game of their 4 game series with the Braves in Atlanta. After playing un-inspired ball the first 3 games of the series, Johan Santana will take the hill and try to sneak the Mets out of ATL with a win. Santana is 0-3 in his last 3 starts despite throwing back to back complete games during that span. Against the Braves this season, Santana is 1-1 with a 2.57 ERA is 3 starts. Santana will be opposed by Braves Cy Young candidate Tim Hudson. Hudson is in the midst of his best season of his career and has to be considered a favorite to win the Cy Young. Against the Mets this season, Hudson is 2-0 with a 0.69 ERA. Game time is 7:10PM. Here are the starting lineups:
